He works closely with all clients to ensure not only sensible and practical approaches are established, but also to encourage continual improvement. 


In his spare time, Paul is a keen scuba diver.

Richard Hall

Head of Operations

Richard has been advising businesses on health and safety management for over 15 years and manages the consultancy and training team.
He has extensive experience within the retail and hospitality sectors as well as the care sector, logistics and construction.


Richard is an experienced and qualified Fire Risk Assessor with extensive experience across a broad client base. 
For relaxation, Richard enjoys renovating houses.

Melanie Murray

Office Manager

Melanie is the Office Manager at Simpson & Co.


She has brought her experience from the education and media sectors to not only manage the smooth running of the day-to-day office function and our consultant client visits but also uses her expertise to oversee training.


She has been instrumental in developing our online training courses.

Away from work, Melanie enjoys keep fit classes.

Our in-house experience ranges across the health and safety and disciplines including strategic planning, development of policies and management systems, staff training, undertaking health and safety assessments and site audits and providing legislative/regulatory support.

We offer a range of comprehensive services which are applicable across a range of sectors and our personnel have experience in areas which include retail, banking, telecommunications, residential developments, multi-tenant tall building developments, local authorities, schools and service industries.
